He Is Risen: A Resurrection Sunday to Remember

Before we packed our bags and said our farewells, the sisters of Sigma Alpha Omega Chapter joined hands and hearts with sisters from across the region one last time at the 72nd South Atlantic Regional Conference in Tampa, Florida.

On Easter Sunday morning, we gathered for worship—united in spirit, draped in white, and filled with gratitude. As the sun rose, so did our spirits, celebrating the holy resurrection of Jesus Christ and the power of renewal, faith, and sisterhood.

This sacred moment was a beautiful close to a week of purpose and impact.

Under the theme “ARISE and T.U.N.E. In with Purpose,” we came together to celebrate the legacy of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated—uplifting one another, serving with excellence, and strengthening our bonds as sisters in service.

We are reminded how truly blessed we are—not only to worship freely, but to do so surrounded by women who inspire, encourage, and uplift us. There is a special joy in walking in love and purpose together.

May this Easter season continue to bring peace, reflection, and moments that fill your heart with gratitude. Safe travels, sisters, and until we meet again—keep soaring.
